The Challenge

Great Fitness Advice, Trapped in a Website That Couldn’t Sell

KingPowerFit was founded by a former truck driver and personal trainer with a clear mission: help people who live on the road stay fit, strong and healthy with little time and no gym. The brand had built a library of practical content, covering in-cab workouts, posture and back pain, sleep, meal prep and resistance band routines.

But the old WordPress website was built like a blog, not a brand. Content was hard to navigate, the shop was an afterthought with only a handful of products, and the site’s technical issues undermined the trust the content worked so hard to build. The audience was also wider than truck drivers. It included tradespeople, shift workers and anyone with a busy, on-the-go life, and the site didn’t speak to them.

  • The shop was an afterthought: Only a handful of products sat in three basic categories, and the guides that recommended gear never linked to it, so readers learned from the content but bought elsewhere.
  • Confusing, duplicated navigation: The same articles appeared under several menus and some links were repeated, so visitors couldn’t find what they needed and left.
  • A generic theme that didn’t fit the brand: A stock WordPress theme made a bold, real-life fitness brand look like every other blog, and it spoke only to truck drivers instead of all busy workers on the road.
  • Slow, insecure and hard to use on mobile: Heavy images, missing alt text and insecure http links meant slow loading and possible browser warnings, on the devices most of the audience uses.
  • Broken first impressions: Visible errors and an unpolished finish across the site undermined the brand’s credibility, so visitors doubted the advice and hesitated to buy.

Our Approach

Rebuilt From Scratch to Inspire, Guide and Sell
We redesigned and rebuilt KingPowerFit from the ground up, turning a cluttered blog into a modern fitness content and e-commerce platform for busy people on the move. Before writing a line of code, we mapped how visitors discover the brand, what they need to learn and which products help them most. We then built every page around one journey: inspire, guide, then equip. We carefully migrated and polished the brand’s existing content, so years of valuable advice weren’t lost, only made easier to find and act on.
